UniFinger™ Reader is designed to be easily integrated into fingerprint
authentication applications on PC or network based systems. The readers
are equipped with a reliable optical fingerprint sensor enabling robust
and acurate acqusition of fingerprint image. In addition, it supports
standard USB interface for efficient transfer of captured fingerprint
image data.
Fingerprint authentication using UniFinger Reader is done by UniFinger
Engine SDK, the world’s leading fingerprint authentication algorithm.

UniFingerTM
Engine SDK enables users to develop fingerprint authentication
applications more quickly and easily. No understanding of complex
biometrics is necessary and it allows the developers to focus on their
application requirements.

* To use SFR200 readers, UniFinger-Engine SDK should be purchased in the
purchase of readers once, in the first time. There is no further cost
for royalty in the further perchasing of the readers.

Fingerprint Verification Competition(FVC2004)
The FVC competition is the world’s largest evaluation of fingerprint
matching technologies. In FVC2004 competition, 110 participants
registered and 68 entrants finally submitted algorithms. For the
fairness, 4 different fingerprint databases with 3200 fingerprint images
were used in the performance evaluation.

FVC2004 organized two different sub-competitions, open and light
category. Open category has no limits on memory requirements and
template size. On the other hand, light category limits on verification
time, memory usage and template size. As the light category is intended
for algorithms conceived for light architectures close to commercial
products, it attacted more attention from industrial fields while open
category drew more interest from academic side. As Suprema’s algorithm
is optimized for low cost embedded solutions, it showed an excellent
performance in light category.
